Week 7 ~ Wikipedia

I love wikipedia. There is a definition for anything and almost everything. Since we were preparing to celebrate this awsome holiday I had to look up. There was so much there. The history of Thanksgiving, tips on how to become thankful, even how to turn your life around if you were not (ha, ha, not that I'm in any kind of crisis right now just thought this was super funny). Information is definiately out there if you know where to look.

Week 6...

Lots of new terms to learn here; Tagging, folksonomies, & Technorati. My interpretation of this weeks outlook on services available to better organize the internet to our liking is; interesting. It's like entering a whole new realm.

I want to say this.

I am truly thankful to be given this opportunity to experience and learn these things. If it wasn't for the creation of Library 2.0 I would not have the courage to experiment like this. If it wasn't for Library 2.0 I would be falling farther and farther behind in technology and on the net. Seriously, I did not know that most of these things exsisted on the net, were obtainable, and managable by someone like little O'me. I have gone in circle links again and again but I have somehow been able to come out of it with more knowledge and confidence. Trial and error is a good learning method. Wow!

Week 5 ~ Playing

RSS, newsreader feeds was interesting. At first I got lost. Then I went in circles. Finally I figured it out. Interesting.

Week 3.5

Thanks for being granted more time to do this assignment. Lots more fun. I was able to create this motivational poster with a summer photograph taken on Oregon's coast. Beautiful. Wish I was there now.

Week 3

I tried flickr and loved it. Once I got the hang of it I found myself perfering it. I love photos so this is great. Here is a picture I enjoy posting.

Week 2

I guess I have already done week 2's assignment because I've been bloggin plenty.

Week 1

I am currently familarizing myself with SPL 2.0 at this point. I am oohing and ahing. So much to learn and so much to do.
